How to copy-paste a LIST of items into a Table (cells) in Google Docs

If you try to copy a list and then paste it into a table (in Google Docs) it pastes everything into the same cell rather than pasting each item in every row/column.

Quick Workaround.

1. Copy the list of items
2. Open a new google spreadsheet (use sheets.new short URL) or a dummy sheet
3. Paste the contents to the sheet
4. Again copy from the sheet
5. Now, paste them into the table.

Until Google adds a feature for this, use this workaround.
